Got my birthday present from my parents today...they're the best

First two pics taken with my Canon PowerShot SD110 Digital Elph with some minor Photoshop editing btw...

I rented this lens back in July and it was literally love at first sight. Nikon glass doesn't get much better than this. To compliment the expensive glass, I also got a 77mm B+W circular polarizer, B+W 8x ND filter, and step-up ring for my two lenses that use the 62mm filter size.

dontcha love new toys? good purchase... you'll use the hell out of it and in the end you'll be very glad you didnt compromise on your equipment.

The Canon SD110's image doesn't look too shabby!! Goes to show ya, the camera only makes up so much of the picture.

personally I still use the old "wet and messy" stuff. I just like the physicality of developing the film, and printing it.

Yeah, that $150 SD110 continues to pleasantly surprise me. I didn't do too much to the pics...just fixed the white balance, +15 saturation, and Noise Ninja'd using auto profiling.
