See, that's the thing. I don't care what anyone thinks. I got laughed at on the way home by some bikers. Doesn't bother me. I'm having fun, and got it just on a lark.

I want a vespa. Theres places I go where I dont need to take the rex out, and thatd be the best solution.

There's a local vespa club here in N. Ohio. I read about them a few weeks ago in the P.D. Have fun,brotherand you get a little rev from the hammerdown wagon.

Thanks Joe. I found the one online headquartered out of W 25th called Pride of Cleveland, and another as a sub-chapter out of Detroit. Both are more focused on vintage/classic scooters, although PoC seems to have some of both.

Don't know what the mileage is yet. I got it with an indicated 1/2 tank of gas (2.7 gallon tank.) I put about 70 miles on it and then filled up. We'll see after a couple of tanks. Supposed to get 60+ I think, although it never really said. Just anecdotal from similar scoots with the same engine. It won't pay for itself on gas savings, though. I'd have to ride it 59,000 miles to break even.

Ian, I can identify with that. My wife used to be thin...

What's the top speed? I rode the Yamaha Vino (?) a few years ago in a little town in Colorado and had a blast. At that altitude it only topped out at about 35mph, but it was fun!
