    Random pix w/ my new D70 and 50mm f/1.8 (56k, take a nap)

I just picked up a D70 and a 50mm f/1.8 from a friend who didn't even use it, but had to sell due to financial hardships. Originally, I was going to get a 20D, but this offer was too good to pass up. This camera rocks. I already have some lenses on order. Anyways, here are some random pix I took.

    Sister's dog

My newphew and sister napping it up.

    My niece

    My brother-in-law and niece

On a sidenote is Nikon capture worth buying or should I just stick 2 Nikon Editor and CS 2??

    Any comments are welcome.

    Nice Hybrid.

Just as a friendly critique ( I am still learning too), alot of the shots are center heavy. Number 1 the doggy is blown out on the right side. I like #3 the best.

Yeah, I agree. I try to focus lock and then move it so it's not, but it's a bad habit. I already signed up for some classes so that should help some hehe.

    I <3 my 50mm f/1.8

I personally would stick to CS2 for RAW conversion...you can do a little more in Nikon Capture (like fixing the 10mm fisheye's bending in one click) but to me, it's a PITA to switch from program to program.

Yeah, it's nice. I don't have any other lenses ATM, but it's pretty sick. I need to buy a tripod, bag and some other accessories. It just sucks that Nikon didn't include Nikon Capture w/ the cam, but oh well. I'll just stay w/ CS2.
