Mt. Washington and yoga - 56K good bye

My girlfriend and I took a drive up to the top of Mt. Washington a few weeks ago and took some pics on the way up. I suggested we take some shots of her doing some yoga poses (she is a yoga teacher) because of the amazing background. She also needs a new pic to put up on the studio website.

I would like to give a HUGE thanks to Yodaman who worked the pics in photoshop. They wouldn't look half as good without his help. Thanks Ben.

So here are the pics from a person-who-uses-a-camera (don't think I could call meyself a photographer )

Great shots WRC! I really like how surreal the pictures came out!! I like #2 because of the fog rolling in the backgound. Also, good job Ben for the PS work

BTW, some of those yoga poses look like they hurt!

The shots were pretty cool to start with so it wasn't hard to make them pop a bit more. I am editing that first shot though, in the web version she just seems too red.

It was a great location to take pics because of the weather there. Very rarely do you get a clear sunny day so there is always fog rolling by. In that second pic I saw the fog coming and told her to do a quick pose. That is one of my favorites. Amazingly she wasn't warmed up and she was wearing jeans so she couldn't stretch as much.

It was amazing how green the grass and moss was there. Great contrast against the grey clouds and fog.

Thanks. The pics were taken at Mt. Washington in NH which is the highest point in the northeast. The pics here were taken above the treeline which is why they seem out of place for the northeast.

Yes. She gets very excited about yoga.
