The motion looks great, Ben. Looking through the gallery data, shooting from 1/60th - 1/125th sec., you did an excellent job. Many folks have trouble with blur from handling the camera at those shutter speeds. I tend to shoot from 1/125th and lower, even down to 1/15th, but, then again, I delete a LOT of pictures.

As for the color, I have a comment and please don't take this the wrong way. The images are too contrasty for my taste (or it may be my monitor). I prefer a more suttle, natural look. I can't tell if it is from your in-camera settings or in post-processing. Don't get me wrong, your photos look great, just a little too much punch for me. Can you post one that has no color/contrast adjustments?

Purely constructive criticism. You know I'm not bustin on you.

    Peace,

    Curtis

I never take citicism is a bad way . I think I may have gone a little overboard on contrast, when I get home tonight I will play with the selected 50/600 and try to get a more natural look. I made a mistake of editing on a computer that I had recently formatted and didnt have the monitor calibrated the same way I usually do it and I noticed the saturation/ contrast was a little too much for my taste when I got to work on Monday. I will also probably play with having some with not so tight of a crop and see what the results look like. Thanks for the critique .

Also, i forgot to say it is definetly just my post processing. The out of camera images are extremely flat, the way I like to start like a blank canvas. I messed em up on my own .

Ok, I am going to go through and redo all these shots as I think they deserve some more work, here is the first one I did.

Very nice. That's a huge improvement, Ben. The changes brought out the color within the trees, as well. Looks really real, now.
