Holy crap, Mattypants...you were a clean-shaven lad when I saw you at CF 2010. You're in for this year, right?

I've put in for a long weekend @ work. The plan is to be there...

The goal was to grow the beard out until CF12, but I got bored one night and took it off.

I love. At the time of purchase it blew away its Canon and Nikon counterparts in the same price range. The sensor is amazing (Nikon uses the exact same sensor made by Sony in cameras listed for twice as much). Ergonomics are great, the thing is tough as nails, and after shooting everywhere from sand storms outside of Riyadh, hiking through snow storms here at home, and thunderstorms getting lightning shots, I can say the weather proofing is great as well. The only thing it is lacking is live view and video mode. Although the viewfinder is a pleasure to use, best there is, and if I want to shoot video I'm going to use an AVCHD cam, not a DSLR.

Me, my gf and my 11 month old, soon to be 1 year.
She wants a ring and i just bought a 2011 wrx sedan as a "family" car. YEA the family car ideal lasted long NOT! It has become a 3rd toy of mine sitting in the garage! She is not happy at the moment. I then told her i would find her a wrx and she can join the festivities! The wrx WAS supposed to replace my tundra for better gas mileage. I still have the tundra lol

I am looking to privately sell the tundra in hopes that i can buy a v6 4x4 pickup to use in bad weather and haul the bike to events and use for yard work materials. Want to keep the wrx as new as possible. The wrx was for the awd, sedan with room for the boy and still have something sporty to rock as a dad. The gf and i went to the subaru dealership on a sunday. I then came in on a monday and picked the vehicle up on a wednesday, this past wednesday. As i was driving the car back to the house, i soon realized that is was too nice of a vehicle to be using as an everyday family car and i wanted to keep it "nice/toy." My gf has a lincoln mkz that she wants to trade in for the lincoln mkx (i think its the mkx, the SUV model) i told her THAT can be our "family" mobile, she then replied, fine i agree when i get my ring! KABOOOOMIE hits the wall!

You better get her that ring. When Mom isn't happy, the whole family isn't happy.

Why wouldn't you want it as an everyday family car? You get to drive it everyday!!!

A WRX works fine in most "one kid" situations. Welcome to the fold!
