Yeah, I run the IT Global Services group for my company (i.e. big IT consulting jobs). How do I do it? Grew up on a farm with parents that instilled the value of hard work, then gave up most of my 20s for work and had my first year making 6 figures when I was 26 or 27 as the youngest Director by far in a $35 billion company. Now I work more in a standard 2 weeks than most people do in a month. Always have to have my blackberry, check email, and be available if somebody calls. The only break I get is once a year I take a fishing vacation somewhere remote with no cell service. It's a life. Don't know if it's a good one, but I get to drive nice cars. At least I can enjoy my drive to/from work!![]()
