Oh no disagreement here.. but the **** was cheap and I wasn't the one buying.

I'll second the coors comment though.. but we stuck to the regular stuff if we got any of it.

dunno, for cheaper beers I prefer killians.. on tap not out of the bottle. Dunno, really it depends on the mood for beer or what I'm eating with it. As of late I've not gotten to indulge in my love for odd and well crafted beers. Thinkin I might start brewing some of my own. I've always been interested in it.. just never had the time/equipment to do it right.

It's an awesome hobby. It's not real cheap to start (compared to going to the store and buying a case). Don't get discouraged. You will have meh batches every once in a while, even after you've been doing it a while.

    What'd ya buy from Woot????

mangostick, homebrewing is awesome fun and definitely something to try. Yes it's got a bit of a startup cost, but you could also try one of the brew-on-premise places where you use their equipment.

I currently keg my home brew and have on tap an American Amber Ale and a Smoked Chili Porter. Mmmmmm.

I too prefer good beers. I love darker lagers and such. Amber Bock, Sam Winters/Oktoberfests, Yuengling, etc. I also love Reds such as Murphy's Red and Killians.

Homebrewing isn't really that hard at all. A lot of the times there are special shops that have everything you need (we have a couple around here in Philly). Plan on about $100-150 start up cost for all the tools of the trade (including bottle capper, carboy, siphon, cleaning agent, large enough pot for the boil, hydrometer, all your ingredients, etc). Usually the owners of the shops are VERY knowledgeable and will tell you everything you need. A lot of places even have their own start up kits that have everything you need for a bit of a discounted price. After the initial splurge for tools, its just ingredients that you have to buy from there on out.

Biggest thing for homebrewing is patience and knowing that a batch might not turn out as good as you thought, but that's how you figure it out. I know guys that do a new batch every weekend. Also, you gotta make sure that you have enough bottles to last, so in order to bottle, you have to drink

Cute yes, but I don't think she brings much to the table. She had absolutely NO curves in her dress at the Grammys. I need me at least a couple mosquito bites...

Yeah, but my wife on the previous page is five years older than Ray and still looks like my daughter.
