I did bracket the whole time, but as it turned out, the only one I had to stitch was #3 with the side view mirror. All the other ones came out just fine, with a bump in the exposure during RAW conversion. I underexposed them on purpose 'cause I knew that the white car would blow out really easily, then just raised the exposure to where it was perfect.
Maybe I'm on crack, but I've noticed that overall, Photoshop off my new Powerbook works both faster and better for RAW images. Even the RAW conversion is better. On my PC, bumping up the exposure would leave horrible artifacts that Noise Ninja couldn't get rid of, but as you can see...there's barely any on these.

Ok, I guess I will just run out and grab a mac then! Haha, what kinda artifacts are you getting? It seems like I can just increase the exposure to infinity on my PC without any artifacts, if I underexpose too much I will get banding though.
I've noticed that the noise just gets worse and worse when I raise my exposure, at least on my PC. It might be a D70 thing...but then again, I don't get it on my Mac so...*shrug*

Nice shots, Armin. I especially like the engine shot. Purty light.
As for exposure adjustments in PS, what method do you use? I've startd using Layers > Curves and it has made a BIG difference in the final output. Much better control than just using Curves or Layers (under Image Adjustments). I'll try to find where I found this info, either sportsshooter or galbraith.com.
Peace,
Curtis
I am guessing he is talking about adjusting it in Adobe RAW before the image hits photoshop. The method you described does work alot better for jpegs though.
Yep, talking about the exposure settings in Adobe Camera RAWOriginally Posted by Yodaman

Stitching is when you take one image that has the background correctly exposed, but everything else overexposed, and another with everything correctly exposed, but the background overexposed. You then paste one of them on top of the other and erase the part that isn't exposed correctly to reveal the right one. Photoshop CS2 has an automated process to do this, but otherwise you'll have to do it by hand.Originally Posted by WRXTwiztid
