i have never had a problem with scan disk. i have had a few corrupted photos with lexar and my friends lexar card got corrupted last week and crashed our teacher computer when he tried to fix it.
I've had a number of San Disk removable memory cards (Memory Stick, SD, and now Compact Flash). I am using the San Disk Extreme III 2gb card for my SLR and it is pretty sweet. Transfers data at blazing speeds, never have to wait when recalling or deleting a picture.
