Here are a couple of shots I took that i really liked, and weren't so much capturing the vacation as much as finding something with a little composition.

Camera is a Cannon Powershot

capitalizing on no wind across the pool....


screwed with the exposure a little on this one...


i'd love another crack at this one at the same time of day, when the clouds were out of the shot... but i'm not sure i can replicate the whistful, nostalgic look of the sun coming through the chair off the water


i think a tripod would have really finished this one, but i'm relatively pleased nonetheless


i was surprised this one came out at all, given the brightness of the sun. i thought it would be all washed out...

Nice shots DR! It is so peaceful and quiet. There is feeling and emotion in those pictures so nice job on composition. It beats the noises and stress of the city eh?
