    sealant? why would you use sealant? Stock gaskets are more than enough.
    No one will truely be free until nerd persecution ends.

    I always thought that leaks were the result of the pipe and installer.
    Steve McQueen's got nothin' on me...

    Make sure you follw the correct torqing sequence when reassembling it.

    I have a perrin uppipe, check out their instructions on the web.

    WHen I first did it it leaked cause I used the subydude gasket kit and one of them cracked in half, all the others for the up and downpipe are still sealing 4 months later.

    FOr the leaker I just reinstalled the stock steel gasket (the used one) and have been leak free ever since.

    If you don;t follow the correct torque sequence you'll be getting leaks.
