I'm a big fan of the Bosch Evo's as well, haven't tried the PIAA's, maybe I'll give them a shot next so I can compare them.

Bosch are the best I've found at most auto parts stores, but PIAA or Silblade are by far the best I've used.

I been using RainX Latitudes and work really well for long period (1 + yr) and I live in MN where where we get rain and snow. Maybe I should try the PIAA...

Not trico I got some because of the reviews here and after this week they went in the trash for a set of Bosch again. Instantly streaks were gone.

Agree. Had Tricos on my civic before I got the wrx and they were garbage. They stuttered across my windshield all the time.

I'm staying out of this one for the most part, but I will say this...like with any products, there are cheap models and higher end premium models.
I've been running Trico Force (Onyx in some areas) for the last 10 years on at least 5 different cars now and NEVER had and streaking or stuttering. I USED to use Anco prior to that. I like beam blade style and easy-to-use connectors.
I have used RainX before (years ago) and they were crap, but I don't recall the actual name of them.

How so? Do you need to go to the dealership that you purchased the car from, or can you go to any Subaru dealership?

I do have to say I am not super impressed with the OEM blades on my 2016 WRX, but my wife has a 2015 Forester XT and her blades are much nicer.

Anyway if they are going to give me free blades for 3 years I will take it in.

I think you are talking about NEOForm by Trico. These are actually amazing blades. I used to put these on my 02 WRX. As soon as the new 2016 WRX is due for a blade change I may upgrade to these again.

I tried them, my results did not concur with a good blade so I quit using them. Probably won't again

Wiper blades are covered under the 3yr 36k bumper to bumper warranty. Since they technically are a wear item I got the impression my dealer wouldn't swap them more than a couple times, but still free is free.
I've gotten wiper blades swapped under warranty on a couple cars.

When the warranty is up and if I plan to keep the car awhile I just spend the extra on some silicone blades, either Silblade or PIAA

I'll tell you this with 100% factual certainty. Trico Onyx/Force blades are a better product.
