07 wrx cruise is blinking and check engine light is on.. help please

So my check engine light turned on a few weeks ago and the cruise control light did too....
I got it scanned and what showed up was:

P0031
HO2S Heater Control
Circuit Low (Bank 1, Sensor 1)

I was told that it was the Oxigen Sensor so i replaced it today...
The flashing cruise and check engine lights went off so i thought i had fixed it
but a few minutes later they came back on...

I tried to reset the ECU by unplugging the battery and pumping the brakes for 30 seconds and again it went away
for a little but then again it came back on.

Any ideas?

most of the time if you have a flashing check engine light, it means you are doing damage to your vehicle so if it's flashing, I would advise you not to drive it at all if you have been. make sure cruise control is turned off.

Def dont drive it. Although when i had mine do that it was an a injector prob.

Flashing CEL typically means large variance misfire. Usually this means the cylinder isn't firing at all.
