Does anyone know if this type of document is obtainable? I had one for my Scion tC that I was able to pickup through some friends, although I'm not sure how they got the manual, it was an extremely valuable tool for DIY work on the vehicle.

Since I have some parts due in, like my bushings, knowing the torque specs and different methods of removing stuff the proper way would be valuable.

2011 Factory Service Manuals not seen, try 2009 or 2008

    Two solutions.

    1) You can go to the Subaru site and look at the technical info, take the shortest subscription and download the manual you want. Its in sections and you can only download one section at a time, but its all there.

    2) Google "2009 Subaru Impreza Service Manual pdf" or "2008 Subaru WRX Service Manual pdf". (You can try later years if you enjoy an all-spam diet.)

Worst case I may pay that fee and download that entire thing and then share that thing... $30 isn't much, if that limit on the amount you can download isn't too low. I'm sure I'll be shafted doing it a few times though.

Can this service manual be used for a 2010 WRX also?

To be clear, is it confirmed that if you register for the 3 day subscription, you can actually download the manuals is a nice readable form? My dealership parts guy told me that last time he tried to order a Subaru manual it came in a bunch of different books and cost upwards of $500 -- $30 for a digital one instead sounds like a good deal to me, but I don't want to pay before I need them to find out I can't download them.
