    problem with turbo please help

    I'm having a problem with the turbo in my wrx.
    Every time its about to kick in at about 3000 rpm it starts spinning like the clutch is not catching can anyone tell me what the problem is and do you think i need a new turbo or can it be fixed.

    maybe the trans is the one that has a problem, not the turbo.
