    Clutch

i just bought a 2005 Sti, about two months ago and i had to put brakes on it. Now the clutch is starting to go, and i want to replace it. i was wondering where i could find the best deals online for it? i just want to replace it with a normal OEM clutch. Or is a stage one better?

The next best thing to stock is stock. Just rememeber the harder the clutch the more the trans takes.....

What mods do you have? More than likely, you're better off with an OEM clutch.

More than likley you should not upgrade your clutch, the upgraded clutch puts more strain on the trans. I would not do this unless you have a complete need for it. Id especially not do this on a WRX 5spd.

Your clutch is fine, if it needs a new one get OEM. Just because your ECU is flashed to stage 2, doesnt mean you need a stage 2 clutch. Stick with oem unless you want to strain your trans

Mine does the same thing. It's normal afaik. I've also heard that if you leave it set to the rear on dry pavement and beat on it...it's going to be bad (worse than auto) for your diff.
