    If your clock failed, you generally don't fix it. Replace. I can't think of anything else you might mean by "clock light" so I'm assuming your clock does not work.

    Mine goes on and off - but never loses time - it's the illumination that seems to die.... so I'd say he's got it right. In any case, I've taken the troglodyte approach of banging on it a few times, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't.

    Mine went out and it turned out to be a bad fuse. just replace fuse.
