Weasel you still aorund.
How do we go about finding out whats happened to everyone.
When was the last time you heard from Chris buddy
This is a discussion on UK and Ex-Pats chat forum within the International Forum forums, part of the Regional Discussion category; Weasel you still aorund. How do we go about finding out whats happened to everyone. When was the last time ...
Chris been a longtime since he posted !
Oaks, so you gonna look up whiteline sway bars and ends links for your scooby ?
Yeah Weasel !!
have been looking at the mods I want to carry out and going to stear clear of any engine stuff untill all the running gear is modded to the max.
Don't really want to be cutting corners on parts either due to us keeping the Scooby for a long long time.
Want to get her sitting and riding at the right height which means adjustable shocks is a must.
You know the spe pretty much where do you think I should start.
Wonder if Chris still has his Scooby
well cheapest and easiest would be front n rear sway bars and endlinks , then the teins , then full alignment.
Chris last online Oct '08:
What happened on the sway bar thread between you and the others !! one the hread is closed and the closing post you stated Group Hug
I am going to read through it but the info is correct that WRXWagon posted yeah
3. Your starting point. The stock WRX typically comes with a 20mm front bar and a 17mm rear bar. The '02 WRX & some early '03 WRX sedans came with a 20 mm rear bar stock. The STi comes with 20mm bars stock.
So any ideas what a classic RA would be Weasel ?? 20 front 17 rear
How easy is it to learn about tech stuff on here already I understand much more about alignment Castor and camber already in 10 minutes of reading.
Negative camber is good for grip but to much not good for braking though WRX standard setup - 0.25 wehre you can have this up to - 1.5 with the standard bolts.
Aere all these reference relevant to the classic though ??
what you on about Oaks ?
Wrx Wagone does a lot of Auto-X so he does know his stuff etc
look at the Sway bar thread and you'll see what I mean I know WRX knows his stuff but it looks as some posts have been deleted so I thought there might have been a falling out on the thread or heated discussion.
Not you and WRX arguing but you Mod the thread ??
post up the link so i can go look
oh ok found it: Swaybar & Endlink FAQ
yeah wrx wagone had posted someone elses info from another forum and they were "pissed off" and i helped resolve the issue

so are there any scooby performance shops/garages near you ?
One in Bournemouth that specialises in WRX / STI and called Trinton or something like that they also have a 4WD rolling road to complete remap's etc.
Want to get our booked in there as soon as I have changed the Air Filter.
What would be best HKS ??
keeping your stock air filter you could use a K&N drop in filter(best choice) , but if your going for a CAI(Cold Air Intake) make sure you get the surround to protect against engine heat.
