Installed: 60mm Apex Gauge on A-Pillar

Only have one gauge in so far, but so far I really like how it looks.

This picture is with the flash. Can anyone see the Apex Turbo Timer?

Wow that looks great! Has the gauge blocked your view at all? Great minds think alike because eventually I wanna do an A-Pillar with an A'Pexi EGT and Oil Pressure gauge

I should have mentioned something before. The pictures do not do the view justice. The a-pillar DOES NOT block my view in any way. Sure there is an inch or so on the left, but it is definitely not a problem.

I've been considering the EGT unit myself. Though drilling into the manifold does not appeal to me at all.

I want a very small EGT gauge somewhere in my car. Are there smaller gauge pods for the a-pillar that would work?

Sure seems accurate enough to me Me, Ivan, Jason, and many Garage SPL customers all use it for our boost gauge...

Dammit...I should've just paid $20 bucks more and gotten that instead of the FATT DC. Oh well, there are two perks to my situation: 1) I have an excuse to buy my HKS bosst gauge, and 2) I can go around telling people I have a FATT DC without getting in trouble

I just installed a Autometer A-pillar with a Defi boost gauge tonight as well. Is that the Autometer A-pillar you used there? The only thing is that I noticed that yours is gray. Did you purchase it this color or did you paint it? I thought they only came in black so I thought I'd ask.

It's the Lotek pod. I paid $50 for it painted. It's not exact, but you could never tell unless you have the stock a-pillar up next to it.

i would like a beautifull one that works well and can maybe change colour,,and the back of the gauge in white as this picture??
Those are apexi??
I am looking for a EGT Gauge and an A/F ratio meter..
Would Apexi make them??where should i look for them?

Hey tuca,

I have the Defi boost gauge(D-gauge model) and it looks sweet. The only thing is it's in amber. I might try to modify it to have a green illumination.

I would recommend the Defi BF series. When the engine is off the gauge appears black and when there on they look suhwheat! The only reason I didn't get them is because I didn't want to spend that much money on gauges. (but I still wanted good quality.....of course)
