Boost Guage Color Change?

Does anyone know how to take apart the stock boost gauge to change the colors? Or does anyone know of a thread that has instructions to do this. I can not seem to figure out how to get that damn rubber thing off from around the gauge.

If you can get the bulb out you can order one of those green condom like covers for it to make it match the stock gauges.

you have to slide the gauge out of the rubber mounting cup which is not easy then unplug the wires/hose that goes into the back of the gauge. It is not easy as they do not give you much room to work.
