2004 STI cluster into MY05 plug and play?

Will this cluster just plug in directly with no extra wiring needed to be done? Except for the temp and such? Any help is good. Thank you, Rick.

Yes it will plug right in. The only thing is that the outside thermometer wont work cause you dont have the sensor in your wrx.

In my 04 I've got a rear diff temp light on all the time, the dimmer doesn't work and the DCCD light is kind of annoying since I don't have it.

I was also wondering about putting one into my 05wrx....what is the deal with the odometer? what happens? does it start all over? or for instance if you have 5K miles, put the cluster in, and then drive when you switch back to the original cluster will it say 5k miles....? i dont want to mess anything up

The cluster will say whatever it was before you put it in the car.. If you want it to read the correct mileage you need to send it to a place to get it set, and I'm assuming they'll give you a certificate saying you did it legally. Kind of important when you sell the car because otherwise you'll have to report it as "Actual Mileage Unknown." I didn't do mine because it was only off a couple hundred miles and I'm planning on keeping the car for the track and shows when I get my next car. Hopefully it won't turn out to be a bad idea.
