I have v7JDM Sti seats in my car, PM me if you want info. They fit fine if you put the WRX bottom rails on them.

If you get the USDM seats, they're a direct bolt on. Try and get them with the STi sliders/brackets to make your life easier.
Those fools, EVO vs. STi??? That's like comparing ....wait a minute...there's no comparison. The Suby's still working!!! The evo...well... I hope he got the extended warranty.

I have V8 JDM STI Seats in the front. Fitment is fine and I even used the JDM brackets/sliders that came with it. Here are some pics for you

I am curious how the v7 or v8's feel versus the stock 02/03 seats?

Hmm...how can I compare the two. Well, sitting in a USDM WRX seat (02/03) is like sitting on a nice park bench watching the grass grow, and sitting in a JDM STi seat is like getting strapped into a rollercoaster. The best way I could describe how the JDM seat feels is like if your seat was a fat person sitting there, and you sat on his lap and he hugged you as tight as he could and didn't move at all. Go sit in a USDM STi seat, then imagine it tighter x 10 and narrower in the hips x 5

PS... my avatar = my v7 Seats in my car.

So where'd you get the JDM seats? Just out of curiosity I called the dealer a few weeks about getting some USDM STi seats for my 04 WRX and I was sooooo scared when they told me the price. Possibly as high at $3000 for the full set because they don't sell complete seats, they have to be purchased piece by piece and assembled by the customer.

I'm on a search for a good deal on the JDM seats, even just the fronts.

    www.iaperformance.com

Those would be my first two guesses, or www.gruppe-s.com , although probably none of those companies will have them on the website, they usually have some in stock.

www.mauromotorsports.com may, but I think he sold his.

does the STi have heated seats? or another question is would these seats(or any other aftermarket seat) work with the seat heaters that come with the WRX PP?

Differences between JDM STi v7 (lower pic) and USDM STi (top pic).

JDM are tighter, more supportive (more fun!)
