Armrest Extension Latch

I have a quick question, and as far as I can tell from reading everything I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but here goes anyway...
I have the extended armrest and the plastic latch for the top compartment broke in half. I tried using super glue and epoxy, but it just re-breaks when I go to open it. Is there any way to just order that one little piece? I'm pretty sure the answer is going to be that I need to test my craftiness and make my own (unless I feel like paying the full price to get the entire extension again ).

I don't know if you can order just that piece. I don't know if they'd fix it, but if your car is still under warranty, it wouldn't hurt to have the dealer look at it. They may just replace the whole thing. If it's not under warranty, or if you don't want to take it in, you may try to find one at a junkyard. If none of that works, like you said, you could always try to make your own.

same thing happend to me so now i have two pieces of velkro on the edges holding the top.

on my wrx it happened all the time but all i did was snap it back on
