I like how you have the gauge mounted down there under the ashtray. I want to put 2 gauges there, but since there is a little height to it (under the ash tray), I am going to wait and make a angled panel. Should be better than facing straight up cause it will slant rearwards. I am gonna vinyl-cover the panel so it looks all nice. Ever thought of that?

nah, its the factory 5-speed with the Kartboy shift knob... it just says K-A-R-T B-O-Y on the top of it.
boosted scoob: yeah, i thought of that. but you cant tell in the pic, but i can angle it in the hole so that it angles towards the back of the car, making it easier to see.

I've just noticed that your guages look like they're different styles. Like I see one Cobalt series and the rest Phantom series. Are you in the process of converting over? I do like the clean repaint of the radio bezel you did, but I honestly like my factory radio bezel and how it matches my Cobalt series gauge bezels.

UURX02: yeah its a real carbon fiber shift boot.... i got it off ebay. the guy custom makes them for various cars, it fits like the factory one too and it was only $24.00 shipped.
boosted scoob: yeah man, i have 2 phantom gauges, one ultra lite and a carbon fiber series one. they were all phantom gauges... but now i am in the process of changing them all to carbon fiber series. i also hope to get the carbon fiber interior trim for Christmas. but if not, i think it came out pretty good.
