I didn't have a problem with the fitment of my Momo knob. If you push it all the way down on the gearshift it doesn't interfere with the threads. I wrapped electrical tape around the gearshift, below the knob to hold up the shift boot.

Anyone here everhad a problem with their momo shift nob sliding around. Right after I got my scooby I bought a cool blue anodized nob to match my exterior but it ketp slipping durring shifts , so I have to get rid of it. If anyone here wants it it's yours free. The stock one is good, but it feels kinda long and makes the shifts seem longer too.

Tighten up your set screws and put loctite on them. You shouldn't have any problems.

Hmm... I don't think anyone has brought up the Prodrive shift knob. I ordered mine a few days ago, and am still waiting for it, but the pictures are nice. It's all metal (hot, cold yes, but well worth it) and it's threaded so you just screw it in.

I don't have any pictures on me, so check out www.wrxrsparts.com for info.

Looking for a new shift knob

Any advice where I could find a cool manual shift knob? I have looked on websites I found through Yahoo! and I have also searched eBay. Since my Rex is blue, I like the idea of getting a blue knob.... like the crystal blue momo version. What should I consider a good price? Looks like maybe $50-$60.

    Thanks for your input

I decided to get the Momo Race Air Leather knob. Thought I would keep the same style as the Steering Wheel. I think I got a good deal. $70 + $8.95 for shipping. I don't recall right off the top of my head where I ordered it, but I'll follow up when I get home. Better than other sites I've seen charging $89 or more.

    My $0.02,

There's a better deal on i-club - it's been going on for a few weeks now. Momo knobs (three different kinds leather/leather, aluminum/leather, carbon/leather) for $65 shipped. Check it out in the Vendor Classifieds. I got mine for $62 before they bumped it up to $65 - still a good deal though.

    Thumbs up Holy Crap...

How could I NOT have thought of that?? That SOB has to be laughing his a** off all the time getting orders for those things.

I'm thinking of a nice granite or marble piece myself...

    Hey.
I have a fake MOMO wanna be.
I got it for 10 bucks shipped.
I have STI shift knob, but those gets WAY too hot.....so I put the wanna be MOMO ones. They don't get as hot as the STI ones.

You should put some black electrical tape on your shifter to hold that shift boot up. Looks kinda saggy how it is now.
