My cousin made me a shift knob out of stainless steel, with my Initials on top and 3 lins around it. It's awsome I'll get pics once i buy a digi cam.

I've got that one, but the bottom half is aluminum, not the rubber coating like the one you show. I love it though, came with the kartboy I bought used.

Actually the bottom on it is not rubber. The whole knob is made of leather, and it is perferated leather liek the leather on our steering wheels.

I had the titanium STi shift knob and did not like it, it was hard to grip and would get hot as hell after sitting in the sun for awhile. I sold it on eBay. I replaced it with the Momo Race Air Leather knob like the one in Jim's pic. I love it, and it looks great.

Wouldn't those aluminum shift knobs also be COLD AS HELL for you cold weather STATERS, like Mid Westerners during the winter months. Or do you drive like Michael Knight and wear DRIVING GLOVES!!!!

Anyone know of a good shft nob that also holds the shift boot in it's place instead of just pushing it down.

I used electrical tape around the threads of my shifter and the boot stays up fine. If you are looking for a boot that actually screws to the bottom of the knob, you could buy the Momo boot.

    O-Wood,

Take a look at the picture of mine on the first page. I pulled the boot up over the MOMO knob's threads. it is a real tight fit, and does not move around at all.

Thanks Steve I'm going to try that instead, seems like less of a hassle.
