What are some good brands to look at? I dont really want to spend over 125 on a tach if at all posible. I've been looking on ebay and I'm not sure about the quality. I would like a 5' with shift light. Any pointere would help and maybe whre I could get it from. (online)

I have no idea though, I've never heard of anyone putting one on a rex.
let me give everyone the reason I need a tachometer because they cant just give advice and need a detailed explantion. My tach was broken when a instalation went wrong with some indiglo gauges. Therefore my tacho is broken. I dont want to buy the whole guage cluster, I like the the option of shift light and just wnat one. soooooo, I'm sorry I put 5' not 5". I think 5 feet might not fit. So if anyone has any valid opinions, I'd love to hear them
Defi D series tachometer looks nice!!
emmm....maybe you should just save up for a new cluster...![]()

My old, but missed Subaru.
Are you sure the tach is dead?? If you don't seat the needles, particularly the black clip just under the needle, then it won't work. I've had much experience with this when I scraped the green off the back of my gauges.
i agree. putting a tach on is going to be weird.Originally Posted by XxScoobYxX
