Airbag light on after 3.3 ohm resistors

I installed the 3.3 ohm resistors into the stock plugs but the light is still on. I put the resistors in before I started the car too. Any ideas?

Did you stick them all the way in and make sure they made contact with the pins? Also, I'm not sure if the 3.3 Ohm resistors will work. I used 3.0 Ohm for my steering wheel and seat plugs and I don't get any lights at all.

Are they 3.3 or 3.3k? Make sure they are 3.3ohm and not 3.3k I have them and they work fine.

All I could find at RadioShack was 330 ohm 1/4 watt resistors or 3.3k ohm 1/4 watt resistrors. I'm presuming neither one of these is correct and it really is just a 3.3 ohm. It seems such a small number compared to what they were selling. Can someone confirm?

    Thanks.

That is correct. . .those are way too big. You'll have to get them online. I got mine from www.partsexpress.com.

3.3k ohm was the problem. 3.3 ohm works fine now.
