RSX, S2000, or STi shift knob on a WRX?

Do any of the shift knobs for an RSX-S, S2000, or STi fit on a WRX? I really like the feel/look on the shift knobs. Maybe a replica STi shift knob or one that looks similar.

    S2000:

Maybe someone knows about shift knobs that look like these two?

AFAIK if you don't find a way to disable the reverse lockout, you have to get a knob that is compatible with it.

I have been wrong before though.

Try out the sift knob from the 2005 Legacy. Its 5 speed and looks and feels really nice.

It looks better than the WRX shift knob, in my opinion. But it looks like it might be too big. I like the RSX/S2K shift knobs because there nice and small.
Next time I'm at the Suby dealership, I'll be sure to shift through the gears on a Legacy. Maybe even test drive one

    So?

What's the thread diameter and pitch? My bet is that you need a suby knob, unless you are willing to modify it.

Why would you put a 6 speed knob on a 5 speed car...

I don't mind if it says 6 speed on it.

    It's just a knob. It's not like it's a 6 speed short shifter on a 5 speed transmission.

Eh, to each their own. IMHO, I wouldn't do it. I would just find a nice aftermarket knob. Why not a MOMO? Just looking for something different?

If I found an aftermarket knob that looked like the RSX, STi, or s2k knob, I would get it.

But I don't really like the MOMO knobs. The air leather one looks okay, but I don't want such a big round knob.

Most knobs are universal from what I have seen. I suggest meeting up with an s2k and/or an rsx owner and see if there's will fit on your car. Just do a test fit.
