    Omori 45mm boost gauge pics

    Installed it few days ago.. It's a newer model with red needle to fit 04-05 WRX as well as the controller unit that changes LED colors of the gauge.




    Sorry for crappy pics..

    Playing around with the controller box..

    Nice!! I got the 52mm with backlight technology. Is yours electrical or mech.? I guess it is elect. because the backlighting unit is electrical anyway. Sorry, dumb question. Also, one more question.... Does it have the red warning led??? Thanks.

    Nope, it's mechanical. Basically a direct replacement for the stock gauge... I'm a bit dumb when it comes to electrical stuff so I went with mechanical gauge, so no red light. The controller is powered by the harness that connects to the back of the stock boost gauge.

    So the stock harness bolts direclty up? I'm looking at replacing my stock gauge w/ this...

    The stock harness goes into the two wires from the controller box (you have to splice them). The controller box goes into the harness from the Omori gauge.

    what does the controller look like and is it hard to hookup as well?

    why is your gauge bent? im guessing its not a direct fit into the gauge pod then??
    they call STi's STDs because everyone is getting them.
