    cleaning the seats?

I have come to notice small stains on my seats. They are whitish in color (shut up, shut up.... i know what you are thinking....) but I wont allow sexual acts in my car, for this very reason.. (it will cause a mess).

anyways, I am not sure what they are from. Its kinda like the drool stains that are left on a pillow or something... anyways, I like to keep my interior clean, so naturally, this is buggin the hell out of me. Anyone know what I can use on these seats? basic upolstry cleaner? just try water?

You can either try a lil soap with warm water, or use some form of fabric cleaner, shouldnt be too hard to get out.

Well, the reason I havnt tried anything yet is because the seat fabric is different than most other cars on the wrx. I dont want to use soap and water, or some fabric cleaner and make it worse

Hmmm, well some light hand soap shouldn't cause any problems. Just try a very light amount of it and just dab at it or lightly rub it. Im not sure what the stain is so it's hard to tell what would work.

I like to use Mother's upholstery cleaner. Made my floor mats and seats look as good as new. Smells nice too.

You go to Krispy Kreme don't you. I know that happened to me more than once. They like to leave icing on the bottom of the box.

I had some stains on the floor of my Celica when I first bought it, and I got everything out with Resolve Carpet Cleaner. Spray the stuff on, let it sit, and then rub it out with a cloth. I then used a high-powered vacuum to suck the rest of it out. Seemed to work well.

That's interesting that you said it looks like drool stains (ewww) but I know what you're talking about. I've had that same problem. What I use for upholstery cleaner is Blue Coral upholstery and carpet cleaner.

The trick is that you need to spray it on, brush it in, and then vacuum it out. The vacuuming is the key. Repeat it if necessary.

I detailed an old crappy Ford Escort for a friend which looked like the previous owner purposly spilled everything he could on the seats and the floor for the past 8 years and this stuff took it ALL out without a trace!! I couldn't believe it, we were all amazed. You just have to be patient with it and you MUST vacuum it out. It works.

    stains easily...

I got the 04 wrx...it's got that "net" thing over the seat...and the seats stain really easily...One time after washing the car, some water drops landed on the later support of the seat (the part that hugs your leg so it does fly out to the side when u corner hard)driver's seat (of course I didn't think much of it and just let it be), the next day, there were stains along the the later support?? wft??...so if water stains it, then what?...I'm pretty sure all the 04's have the same seats (except for the STi)....what do you guys recommend to clean that up??
