I bought a used Auto dim Rear view mirror for my WRX but I can not figure out how to get the old mirror off. It should snap off the glued on mounting plate but........? Can somone enlighten me?
Anyone no the answer to my question?
Twist the entire mirror counter-clockwise and then it should come out. When you install the auto-dim one, reverse what you did to get the stock mirror out. Let me know if you have any other questions
Hank, your the man.
FYI: Thought I would break it if I twisted it too hard. You need to pry out the bottom just a bit with a screw driver and then twist it 90 degree's. It uses a tension spring to hold it in place.
