Friday night, I installed:
1) Kartboy Short Throw Shifter
2) Kartboy Polyurethane Bushings
3) Dropped Clutch Shifter Trim
4) A new Prodrive shift knob
The Kartboy products were a very easy install, and WELL WORTH every penny I spent on them. Shifting now feels much more CRISP, and PRECISE. It feels more like a machine now.
The Dropped Clutch shifter trim looks very nice, is well made, and easy to install, but fitment is less than perfect. There is a slight curve/bend to the plastic center console, but the trim is straight. So it will appear bowed up in the middle when not tightened down. If you tighten TOO much, you will see the stress in the vinyl at the middle screws.
Prodrive shift knob. I actually used to own a black one, but purchased the silver one to go with the silver trim. I've always liked it...nice and weighty, fills my hand well.
