    Which HID TEMP/Color to get?

    In the market for a new HID kit...i used to have a phillips 4300K on my Si but they were to white and didnt look like HID's ...

    I want the nearest Possible Temp/color to match the HID's on an STi.

    Recommend me a Manufacturer and the Color Temp please.

    If you want white, get the 4500K.
    If you want blue, get the 8500K.
    If you want purple, get the 11000K.

    If I had the 300 bucks kicking around I would get the 6000k McCulloch kit on Ebay. Seems to be a great value.

    Anything over 4300K and you are losing usable light. I'd say realistically 5000K is the max and then you start getting bluish purple.

    6k. looks like bimmers but not as bright as the 4300 or 4500. The STI hid's are perfect without the bluish look.
