This is a discussion on squeaky drivers seat in my 04 within the Interior Mods forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; Just wondering if anybody else with a 04 has this problem. Its only the drivers seat but its getting real ...

    Just wondering if anybody else with a 04 has this problem. Its only the drivers seat but its getting real bad. Maybe ill take it to the dealer and see if they will fix it, this sux

    I have a 02, but my seat also squeeks due to a lose bolt that there is a recall on. I have to get around to taking my car in. I don't think theres a recall on the 04's so you should probably be able to tighten it. Good luck

    Thanks, ill try to tighen it and if it doesnt fix it ill bring it to the dealer.

    just got a letter from subaru informing me of a bolt recall on the driver seat. Check with your local dealer. Mine is a 02, but your interior, from a mounting/hardware perspective is identical, or maybe your bolt is just loose. Either way, definately take it to the dealer.
    Those fools, EVO vs. STi??? That's like comparing ....wait a minute...there's no comparison. The Suby's still working!!! The evo...well... I hope he got the extended warranty.
