Greddy EGT guage help

The manual is in japanese..and on top of that I lost it...

so i am asking for help as to which wire is for what?

just to let u guys know...i have

red
black
white
orange

any help is appreciated...hopefully i get some help cuz im installing it tonight.

I think you have,

red = constant 12v
orange = ignition 12v
white = 12v for lighting
black = I'm guessing this is -ve ground.

-ve (negative)
I always use the grounding strap on the side of the radio/changer for gauges and so forth. Just crimp a ring terminal onto the negative wire for a nice clean install.

White (lighting power). You can tap this off-of the OEM clock wiring harness. I seem to recall there are 4 wires in this harness, and they are labelled on the back of the clock I think. Otherwise do a search here on ClubWRX as the topic has come up several times. Alternatively, if you want your gauge lighting to dim using the dimmer control, you can wire it off the OEM boost gauge harness I believe. This is attached to the main radio harness. Again, do a search here on ClubWRX for a wiring spec & details.

Orange (ignition 12v). I always tap ignition-12v off the red wire that feeds the cigarrette lighter (auxilliary power outlet).

Red (constant 12v). Again, I think I tapped this off the OEM clock harness.

Hope that helps. Basically, between the clock harness, the OE boost harness, and the cigarrette lighter, you can usually find all the power you need for gauge installs. My memory is a little sketchy though, so do a search to confirm what I have said. I cannot be held responsible for you setting your WRX on fire.
