Does anyone have any idea on what's going on with Autometer and their dual gauge bezel? I want one, but not with all the fitment and discoloration issues that I have heard about.
If not the Autometer, are there any other options?![]()
How about a vendor fabricating one? I'd probably pay big $$$ for a nice one like the mythical silver prototype seen a while back.

Here's a night shot of both pods (triple dash/clock and dual bezel)

Closeup of the dash pod...i'll try and find a close up of the bezel

Which gauges are those??
Please specify as they look awesome. I really like the blending witht the OEM colors. Who makes them, (Greddy?) and what do they read. I saw Boost and Voltage, not sure about the other ones. EGT, Oil Press, Oil Temp perhaps. Let me know.
Those fools, EVO vs. STi??? That's like comparing ....wait a minute...there's no comparison. The Suby's still working!!! The evo...well... I hope he got the extended warranty.
my guess is Omori
Totally stock...yep uh huh:P

my guess is Omori)
They're 52 mm Greddy's. Boost reads in bar, oil pressure is in kg/cm^2, and the oil and EGT are in degrees C. The outside air temp gauge (left digital one in the bezel pod) is in degrees F...temp sensor is mounted on the intercooler (so I can see intake charge air temp, AND how much the IC sprayer lowers the temp)
There you have it!

those look really good, nice setup. i was considering going with the greddy gauges....but i like the standard readings....im old schoolare the bezel gauges in the way at all?

They're not in the way, except for the left one blocks the low-fuel light. Twice now it's gone unnoticed, and I roll into the gas station with a half gallon left.![]()
Otherwise, I love the positioning of both pods.

I've had mine for over a year now.. the color has not changed, and while originally I noted that it's not the same texture as the oem piece, it doesn't bother me at all now. The fit is fine.
Is it OEM quality? No
Is anyone but you ever going to notice? No
Does anyone know if there is one out there for 60mm gauges?
wow, nice pic racenut, i like that a lot. i wasnt too sure till i just saw that in your car. how did you run your wires though? i cant wait to get it now, i wanna get the omori gauges. I'm thinkin of getting boost and then im debating the second choice. i really want egt but its a pain to get a bung drilled and such. any suggestions on the second gauge?

Oil temperature is good. It helped me realize I was low on coolant a few days ago, and it's good to know when your engine is warmed up

Elecrical connections for the Omori gauges is at the clock wiring harness. The wires to the sending units just go through one of the rubber plugs in the firewall, I think it was up above the clutch pedal.Originally posted by slowscooby
