    Scratches on Dash

    Somehow I got a huge scratch on the glovebox area but I have no idea on how to even touch it up. Any tips?

    very difficult. I've had one installer gash the dash on a STI. I wasn't happy. We tried all manner and sorts of tricks, from filing to filling with bondo, but ended up replacing the glove box. I fired him two weeks later after he paid for the damage and replacement that occured.

    Good help is so hard to find......

    I sadly don't believe that the scratches will be fixable. But if you can, please keep me updated.
    Those fools, EVO vs. STi??? That's like comparing ....wait a minute...there's no comparison. The Suby's still working!!! The evo...well... I hope he got the extended warranty.

    I think a new glove box was around $80 and that only covers half the scratch so I'm going to go to drop by the stealer and see what he recommends.

    well it just scratches so easy...anytime my phone or watch hits something it's like oh look another gash.

    I got a dash mat made of that same material that the sides of the seats on my 02 is made of. real nice! the ony thing is it has a removable part for the clock area or gauges. I got the phone number. there in victorvile CA. much better then the fuzzy stuff that I had sceen.
    2002 wagon 83k miles
    perrin short ram, inlet & fmic, perrin / samco hoses and fuel rails, bosal dp. erz upp, borla catback, sti ra gears w/ stock 5th, act clutch & fly, vf30, AP, perrin end links, critical cooling kit, hks bov, perrin 4pot brakes, rota wheels, hid w/ levals
