I plan on putting mine next to the cupholder above the stereo, you know the empty silver section left of the cupholder? Thats a perfect spot.

as anyone seen a turbotimer mounted to the top of the steering column maybe just in front of the parking light switch or right behind it. I am thinking that it would be in line with my other guages without blocking the view. Also with it placed there I could use it as my boost guage. What do you guys think is there something that I am overlooking?

I put mine on the steering column because I got a Black one instead of silver. You can see the boost guage very clear. If you put it next to the cup holder it just kinda sticks out there unless you are willing to cut the 1/4 Din panel to make it flush. Its cool but make sure you use velcro or L brackets instead of the tape. It will last longer.

Thats what I meant, cutting that silver panel and sticking the timer in so that it remains flush with the that panel. its a very clean install Ill post pics if I can find it...I know its in here somewhere...![]()

Hey flyin600,
Do you have any pics of your steering column mount? I would love to see how it turned out.
I will try when I get my camera back. If you have the timer just put it up there and that's basically it. You can also drill a hole in the steering column to hide the wire.
Here's a pic of mine mounted next to the cup holder...I didn't care to cut the silver panel. I thought it looks just fine like that IMO. FYI the face plate is off for a reason other than the TT.

I'll have a digital camera by the end of the week (if UPS does its job) mine is mounted next to the cupholder, but i have the HKS type0, so i had to cut it with a dremel. stay tuned.....
