Button mount / Dash removal

I'm looking to mount a button (I/C sprayer) on one of the blanks to the left-side of the steering wheel.

I presume I'll need to remove the dashboard trim to do this, and also run a wire through the firewall somehow.

Can anyone point me to a tutorial or guide on removing the trim so I can get to the blank?

2 metal screws and a plastic pop- it on the left side. Pull hard without breaking the plastic panel. disconnect harnesses and there you go. Grommet is behind brake or clutch pedal behind the firewall material. good luck
