This is a discussion on Contemplating gauge pods.... within the Interior Mods forums, part of the Tech & Modifying & General Repairs category; I have a few options here: 1- Butcher a free OEM pod to see if it'll fit 60mm gauges. 2- ...
I have a few options here:
1- Butcher a free OEM pod to see if it'll fit 60mm gauges.
2- Defi pod, although I really don't like the look of the wavy top.
3- Lotek A-pillar designed for the wagon, but I'm not too keen on blocking my field of view with an added A-pillar monstrosity.
I've also been looking at individual mounting cups offered by Autometer and VDO, but I'm not too happy with those either. Dammit! How's a man supposed to mount his gauges?

If your going to get just two gauges get this one
and then you could get a third gauge and mount it like this
I think its a pretty good option if you don't like the oem pod and don't want to do the a-pillar

I have 3 60mm gauges, so I'm limited by that. I also have the stock boost gauge, so between that and the 60mm thing, the bezel pod is out. I'd love to use the OEM pod if I knew it would fit 60mm. I haven't seen anyone try yet. Perhaps I should try it out myself and report back.

Do you have a double din stereo? If not, you could probably fit some gauges there.

A modified OEM pod will fit 3- 52mm gauges....the mounting plate is larger to accomodate the gauges and the pod is ground down at the top to fit the larger curve of the gauges.I ended up ordering mine from www.wrxtra.com I put my own gauges in and ended up using vdo gauges....looks good to me.
