I like them a lot.... that's because mine are identical to yours![]()

Cool as the other side of the pillow.
I took a part of my grill into a local Fabric shop and said I needed something that was as close to my car color as possible that would work for upolstery.Originally posted by Flat4Inside

The hard part is that the door panel is actually 2 pieces and there are 3 screws and about 10 plastic pop rivots. So you have to bust the pop rivots with a flat head screw driver. I've been told that if you heat them up they come off much easier than the way I did them. Watch you knuckles because there are some sharp pieces of plastic in there. Once you have the door apart you can grab and peal off the old material really easy.
The door panels themselves come off the door easy enough.. just make sure to remove the 2 screws (one in the handle, and one in the armrest). Also be sure to be careful and take the trim piece off around the handle before you start pulling on the door. Some stereo install shops have been known to bust them.
So now you have the door apart.. you go and get yourself some 3M spray adhesive. Spray it on an let it dry for about 20 seconds. This is important so that the glue doesn't soak through your material. Cut a little bit extra of your material so that you don't end up with too little in certain areas. Press and smooth out your material and use a flat head screwdriver to push the fabric into the crease in the door. Let it dry for a couple of hours then get out a razor blade. Trim the material from inside the crease and around the panel.
Now you can put the door back together. Just get yourself some small screws for metal and you can actually screw the two pieces of the door together using the plastic where the old pop rivots were.
Snap it back on the door and Voila.. you're done.
Do you have any problems with wind noise or breezes after taking your door panels off... I know on my Cherokee after I took the door panels off I could feel a draft when the wind blows hard or a semi goes past me.. just curious... looks nice great job =D
Where can i get seats or seat coveres and floor mats like this? hrm and I wonder what I would do for the back seats.... I wonder if this is a custom upolstery job?

image taken from scoobymods.com but this is what I want my interior to look like =)
do you have any specifics on the fabric you used for the door panels... like a manufacturer or color? just curious as the color seems like a perfect match to WRB

I actually just took in the OEM front grill piece into Fabric land and started looking around for some durable fabric that was as close a match as possibleOriginally posted by BarbieJeep

KK I will try the same thing then...![]()
Thanks for posting this! I've been wanting to black out my entire interior and the door panels look like the only diy part, now all I have to do is get someone to re-upholster my seats.
