I have not heard good things about Kicker amps. Don't know about the other 2.

I just found the Kenwood today and it looks like it has some nice features on it. Also I have to run a 2 ohm setup.

I was actually leaning toward the Kicker myself. My friend has a Kicker 400.2 amp with two 12" CVRs and they pound. Just curious what bad things have you heard about them.
I have heard only good things about the Rockford Fosgate and I'm thinking about getting one myself.
If you decide to get the Fosgate get their 2003 stuff because it is marked way down. All the new stuff is just changed cosmetically and way too overpriced.
I don't really see the point of paying for Kenwood's display if it's just gonna be under a seat, nor the kicker's teh bomb hot lookz. Have you checked out alpine's mono amps?
Yeah, I looked into the Alpine stuff and it is nice but the 1000 watt amp is too expensive and the 500 watt amp isn't big enough for what I'm looking for.
How much do you want to spend?
Crossfire has a good 1000-watt RMS mono amp I do believe. I know some people who like Crossfire a lot.

$350 is the most I'm paying which is Ebay price. A lot of people don't trust ebay for car stereo stuff but I just got my 2004 15" L7 yesterday and it works great. I paid $290 and it goes for $500 retail. Also, I've never heard of Crossfire.

Maybe look into the vr1000d, but I'm not sure what the L7 has for voice coil impedance.
Oh and maybe look into a HiFonics Brutus. Those seem to be a good value for the power too and I know some people who like them.

Another good amp to consider is the Phoenix Gold Tantrum 1200.1
Thanks for the replies and I think my decision is the Kenwood since I can pick it up dirt cheap.
