    Dash modification...

ok well after those dumb condoms i put on...
it's not what i am looking for...
i want something really bright and attractive...like my celica had and loved it...so with all this info..i have some ideas...

first, the best way to go is changing the stock bulbs to the bulbs following this setup...
    http://www.i-club.com/forums/showthr...threadid=44681

since they seem to be the brightest possible way...
but for the 04, there is one issue...the needles..since the bulbs were originally white/clear light illuminating the green film and red colored needles....the blue light won't...and i can barely see my needles now..

what i really wanted was blue gauges with red needles...but with subaru's setup, i don't think i can do that..only if there was an overlay gauge they made for the 04
    so...

is there a way to take off the green film and have it clear or take it off completely? i didn't take the entire cluster part...
cause if you can do that, that's going to make those lights MUCH brighter....

then i would experiment with the all blue lighting to see how well the red needles light..if they can't be that bright...
then i'm going to paint them blue so it flows with the blue light....

    anyone done this yet?
subaru's stupid green film ruins everything..

i don't want green lighting..i either want to go red or blue with my Defi D Gauges

i'm going to start playing aroud with this when i go to work for a day to get some money for those bulbs to buy.
so far, i haven't seen the *brightest* setup yet, which i will try to do along with something really neat

i took off the green film
    made everything red...it's bright

but i ****ed my needles up

i actually don't care, the RPM still works and speed is a little weird..but i base my speed off the RPM needle. I'll pro end up buying an STi cluster later.
