    question about 04 backseat

did they finally make the rear seat backs fold for 04? if not does anyone know if it will fold for 05?

we may sell the wagon for a silver sedan but my biggest hangup is the lack of a split folding rear seat back...we have a 03 on the lot now and while the trunk is decent sized all it had was a stupid pass through in the middle, every hyundai has split folding seats, my parents had a 92 escort with a split folding seat, and a damn $24k msrp car doesnt have a damn split folding seat...please tell me this has changed

it works really well for longer objects in the rear that wouldn't normall fit in the pass through.

yeah but you couldnt put a piece of plywood or shelving or anything wide, i just dont get why every single sedan on the planet doesnt have split folding seats, i mean if the wagon has it then why the hell not the sedan

I probably would have gotten the sedan had the rear seats folded. There's just no utility in a sedan without folding seats...

Plus, Silver Wagon's are the best WRX's out there!!!

between me, my parents, and my brother, i think there has probably been about six toyota cars in my driveway and every single one has had a backseat that folds totally down.
But, the main reasons i got the rex isnt for hauling capabilites, i also drive a ford F350 dually for work....thats the hauler

its just from a principal standpoint almost. obviously since i sell hyundais i comapre a lot of vehicles i see to the ones i sell in terms of comfort, quality, features, utility etc etc. every single hyundai in the lineup whether its a hatch, coupe, or a sedan has a folding rear seat. like the other kid said a sedan without a folding seat is just useless, if they didnt make a wrx wagon id probably be driving a DSM right now
