Installing Oil temp gage

Hi
I bought a used set of used gages boost volts and oil temp.
Can anyone tell me how to hookup the oil temp Gage . Do I
need to buy a sending unit and if so there does it mount in 04

the guage should of came with its own sending unit, whether it's electronic one or mechanical one. Scoobymods.com has some good advice on mounting locations...search for oil temp or oil pressure. There are two locations:
1) under the turbo, where the intercooler hose meet up to the turbo
2) under the alternator.

For temperature you can also measure at the oil filter. For that you have to buy an adapter that goes in between the filter and the engine and it has a place to fasten your temp probe.

AFAIK they are manufacturer-specific so you'd have to get one that fits your gauge mfr.
