    Stock Stereo Removal

    Need advice on how to remove the stock Stereo from a 2003 WRX.

    The CD player does not turn on or eject CD's.

    Open cupholder, remove 2 screws, and pull out cupholder.
    Carefully pull off trim around radio.
    Take out 6 screws around radio.
    Slide radio out and unplug wires.

    The upper left corner of the trim is sticking; what kind of clip is holding it?

    It's just a metal pop clip. Just pull firmly and it should pop out.
