    defi gauge wiring help?

sooo i hooked up the wires according to

    http://www.defi-shop.com/product/me...ter_inst.html#3

    defi unit
    red-power
    orange-ign
    white-illumination
    black-ground

and spliced it into the clock
    Blue/Red:+12V,
    Black:Ground,
    Yellow/Green:ACC,
    Pink:Light

    connecting defi to clock:
    red to blue/red
    orange to yellow/green
    white to pink
    and black to black

the problem now is the gauges only light up if i have my parking lights on, but on "self-check" the gauges light up, but turns dark again afterwards.

    how do i fix this?
Basically a Cobb Stage 2+lots of extras

They always light up on self check no matter what. Do the gauges light when you have parking lights and headlights too?

Are you trying to get the gauges to be lit all the time or only when the headlights are on?

This might sound stupid, but i had the same problem and the reason was because on the control unit i had the gauges going into the wrong meter slot. Off the top of my head i think for the BF gauges you have to use meter slot 2.
