    stock head unit help!

Well my stock 6 disc changer in my 02 rex has gone haywire. I was putting a cd in then all of the sudden the cd button wouldn't work and it won't eject or accept cds. The only thing that works is the the radio and the tape player. When put the key in the ignition it makes a repeated loading noise also but nothing is loading. How can i fix this? Thanks, Matt

not to hijack with this reply,
but when it was realy cold outside
i started my car and drove off, but then i noticed my stereio wasnt playing...
and then i noticed none of the lights on the stereo were even on!

    I was like!!!!!
and then when I shut my car off and turned it back on, it was fine and then the volume kept raising up!!!

so i shut my car off once again and then after that it never happened again!

    weird !

Sorry to hijack WRXSC, but about your problem
just bring it to Subaru dealer if you still have warranty

Is there a reset button someplace? I can't remember seeing one. Sorry to answer a question with a question, but if there is, that might help...

I had that happen after loaning the car to my sister for a bit - turns out she jammed two CD's into one slot The dealer can probably fix it, or you can try to take it apart and get them out yourself - just my .02

the "reset" feature is activated by completley disconecting the cd player. There is a small black connector on the side (one pin) that once disconnected, will make the player spit out all the CD's no matter what.
